    Yes I would say over all you are eating right, just switch over all that cardio to weight training more often. Most women I train on a regular basis have the same preconception than cardio is the way to go. Its not , weight training for 45 minutes for you whole body will produce much better results . Use low to med weights and high, high reps . My clients (females) use 5 and 8 lb dumbbells

    Height has absolutly NOTHING to do with how much your calorie intake should be.

    And for a male 1300 calories is basically starving yourself. He probably lost mostly muscle, not body fat.
    As a male the average is around 2500 calories a day, to lose weight 2000.

    And again your height doesn't change anything, height has nothing to do with how you burn calories in your body or how your body metabolizes fat.

    There are two forms of anorexia and two forms of bulimia.
    Anorexia Nervosa: Restricting Type
    Anorexia Nervosa: Purging Type
    Bulimia Nervosa: Binge eating/ Purging type

    I come to this conclusion because she is forcing herself to throw up after eating a normal amount of food (1500 calories). The more common anorexic, the restricting type, would not engage in vomiting.
    If she is not underweight but still has very disordered eating, she would more than likely have Bulimia Nervosa: Binge Eating/ Purging Type.
    The key difference here is the weight because in a case of anorexia there will always be rapid weight loss and emaciation.
    In a case of Bulimia the person will never be more than just slightly under weight or they may even be a normal weight but still has extremely disordered eating habits.
    Regardless of the diagnosis, your friend needs to get help. Talk to her about what she is doing and tell her that if she wants help, you will help her find someone to talk to or you will stand by her if she wants to tell her parents.

    Try to keep eating your breakfast, but you want to add some healthy fats and carbs to it… Like: 3 eggwhites, a Greek yoghurt(more protein), and a slice of wheat toast with turkey or ham on it! Then eat a snack before lunch, like an Apple, eat lunch… Here you will also have to have your protein, healthy fats, and healthy carbs!… Eat a snack before dinner, and then repeat the whole protein, carbs, fat thingy for dinner!

    They key is that you eat good things every 3-4 hours… This will speed up your metabolism…

    By healthy carbs I mean anything brown and whole wheat… Whole grain rice, whole wheat noodles, Sara lee makes a loaf of toast that is whole wheat but only has 45 calories a slice, and if there is a Sara lee outlet near by, you can get it for about a dollar per loaf!

    You need to find someone who has lost the weight and kept it off, then do what they do.

    You need to have a plan for maintaining your ideal weight…Like having a threshold. Let's say your ideal weight is 150 lbs. If you get to 155 lbs you do everything it takes to get back down to 150.

    I recommend low carb eating like the Primal Blueprint. I find it to be enjoyable. You can eat delicious food like bacon and stay healthy.
