    I mostly meant people just starting out – last year I saw one woman get injured using one at the gym. She was just starting out and couldn’t complete a move the right way. Some of the other equipment is more forgiving if you are having trouble with stability.

    I’ve never been into weight training. But kettlebells have changed that. It really works you hard but it’s not boring and stiff. There is a lot of fluid motion to it and you don’t realize the full body workout you are getting as you do these. I keep it simple, nothing huge (no Turkish get-ups yet).

    If I understand correctly that it is one set of each exercise … then I suppose it's not a bad workout. Not great but not bad.
    The movements are pretty solid bulk movements.
    Though I would only have chosen about half of those selections.

    It lacks range of motion.
    It lacks not just abs but the entire core.
    It lacks hams, forearms, delts … other groups and tie-ins — and only addresses the muscles it targets from repetative, limited angles.

    If you do it, understand that fairly shortly you'll need to start mixing it up to keep in a state of growth.

    I know this sounds good because it is for pregnant women but if you are not use to exercising I would take it very easy. I was doing Tae Bo regularly when I got pregnant. I am high risk for pre term labor but I was only permitted to do it until 15 weeks. Salsa dancing and Yoga fat burn really sound to me like it may be too much.
    If you eat well and walk 30 minutes a few times a week it should be sufficient to keep you fit. I got the book What to Eat While You are Expecting. It has a lot of good advise and recipes.
    Take the exercise tape to your next prenatal visit and let your OB or Midwife decide if it is OK to do.

    Sure you could lose weight by doing this and even more if you like riding your bike. Just remember not to obsess about it and know that if you like chocolates or whatever sweets, you can eat some, but huge amounts or binging are not allowed. When you restrict yourself you find yourself craving it more. Best of luck!

    its good to eat after working out but its best to have protein because when u have protein it helps u gain muscle if u dont eat after working out then ur more then likely to burn muscle than fat so it is good to eat after working out hope i helped 😉

    Games like these are great for your brain. Each part of your brain needs to be worked to keep it in action. These games work several parts of your brain. There is strong evidence that they also delay diseases such as alzheimers also.
    If you like these sorts of games go to gamehouse.com these have a free game each day to download and a lot of them are hidden object games. I love them. Another type of game you may love and will work your brain really well are escape games. Here you may be stuck in a house, a car, a lift etc and you have to find clues around you and escape. I'm addicted!!

    I still think any exercise is doable. It just takes modification, even if that means only doing 5 sets of 2 reps. Small, simple, focus on form.

    1 You can give her advice but she does NOT have to take it.

    #2 You can NOT tell her how to feel.

    #3 It's her life so either be supportive and positive or be quiet.

    This is probably one of the hardest things she will ever have to go through and she doesn't need her mother nagging her and cussing her out.

    Tell him that he needs to get over him and that he is better than that. Tell him not to weep and to be strong, ask him if he would like for his ex to see him crying. Would he like to be seen as devestated? Tell him to get over him and to begin focusing on himself, if it is being fat what worries him tell him to exercising with you and that way when he is in shape his ex can see what he let go. Basically tell him that crying won't solve anything he NEEDS to work on himself make himself better that way he will feel better about himself. Tell him eventually he will meet others! Trust me I didn't want to let go of someone, but eventually I did because I found that the saying about "there are plenty of fishes in the sea" was true, I found someone who was 10 times better. Tell him it will all be alright and to move on because when one door closes another one opens. If he dwells to much he will miss other opportunities that are right infront of his face, I know I almost did if I didn't stop dwelling on the guy I liked I would have missed the guy I like now, what is ironic that same day I decided to move on completely I met him, I know if I did not move on I would have been thinking of that other guy and overlooked the guy I like now alternating my future and causing myself to be miserable for him.

    I was exactly in your shoes! I'm now 136 but it took just plain old eating healthy and I trained with a trainer. But it sounds like you're doing everything right as far as working out goes. 2 pounds a week is a good goal, but though it sounds like little, it can get very tough so don't be hard on yourself if you don't see it right away. If you're working out like what you say you are, you should be having anywhere from between 1200-1500 calories a day of healthy food. You need fuel to give you energy to work out, and if you don't eat enough, your body goes into what's called "starvation mode" and you'll stop losing weight because your body's afraid you won't survive. So, anyways, as long as you're working out regularly, 1200-1500 calories will have you dropping weight in a good amount of time, without starving or doing damage to your body. Hope I helped.     Janet Jackson is NOT promoting that she got healthy when she gained weight – She's promoting a weight loss company. She's saying she got healthy by LOSING WEIGHT – how'd you miss that?

    That's why I say skinny is still the POSITIVE standard in this country. There aren't that many products out there to help people GAIN weight after all. You don't see any reality shows for skinny people crying and wimpering because they're so desperate to ADD pounds.

    Whilst the best time to drink protein is after a work out, you really need equal amounts of protein on rest days as you need on workout days as your body actually grows/repairs during your rest and as protein is what is needed to help repair torn muscle I would say have one every day at the very least.

    I've read some of the other responses and I must say I dis-agree with a lot of them. Tough love is obviously what she needs at this pount. Yes the situation is depressing but she doesn't have to make it that much worse by BEING depressed.. im talking about overly depressed.
